I want to focus a lot on Dimitrius’s readings, as his coincide a lot with the points I want to make about assault, just with different myths. I thought the comments on his readings were also very informing. The myth of Leda and the swan is very similar, in my eyes, to Lucy’s nightly attacks by Dracula in his bat form. Both women were being assaulted by someone with much more power than them, and both were incapacitated in some form.
